Ok, I’m going against the grain here and say first, the Steelers are not going to trade up to get a QB, the biggest question in my mind is say Willis or Pickett is available at 20, will they take one of them? I’m really gonna go out on a limb here and say not only do they not trade up, they trade down. Think about this, they trade the #20 pick to one of the top 10 for their second and third round pick, This gives them 2 picks in the second and 2 in the third putting them in great position to address multiple areas of need. CB and WR in the second round and “O” line and “D” line or RB in the 3rd. This simple move gives them additional high round picks to address multiple area’s of need. Unless you see the future franchise QB at 20, which I don’t think anyone really does, better to load up on other cheap recruits and stay the course with Trubisky. Will it happen, I surely don’t know but it looks like a sweet move to me.
