So, the Steelers sign a guy who A: Just failed a physical and B: Got suspended for participating in the head beating of your then starting QB?
This looks like a pretty clear sign Mason should be calling the “PODS” place. If this isn’t a sign that this guy has no future with the Steelers organization than I’m not sure what is. And once again, let me be clear, I’m not a “Mason basher”, I just don’t think he has the skills to be a starting QB in the NFL. Whether or not he “could have” developed is water over the dam at this point, the end result is, he hasn’t developed and the best way to make sure he gets the hint? Sign a guy who beat you up in the past.
